Member Spotlight: Tony Vazquez

Born in New York City, Tony Vazquez embodies the multi-cultural sounds of his inner city living. He began his music career at an early age, playing at family gatherings and public events since the age of 12.

Of his musical influences, African, Latin, and Native American musics are his most notable. These days, Tony has joined alongside his friends and band mates to form the Jason Philip Band, delivering sweet rhythms on bass guitar.

His goal is to bring joy and happiness to the audience. He lives to make smiles, bring laughter, and spread hope and encouragement.
